Overview

This article explains the potential sources of why the Green Inventory lot is not synced to the Roasting Intelligence and how to resolve it.

The sections below detail the possible causes for missing green inventory lots in Roasting Intelligence.


Inventory weight needs to be higher than 0 

If the inventory weight of a lot is 0, the lot will not populate in the Roasting Intelligence. 
To make the lot appear in Roasting Intelligence, you need to assign a weight higher than 0 to your lot: 

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar.
  2. Navigate to (Green) Inventory tab on the main menu bar. You will be directed to the (Green) Inventory overview page.
  3. (Optional) To get a complete view of all your lots, click Filters (top right) and add Consumed to the Status field.
  4. Select the lots you wish to roast by clicking the checkboxes.
  5. Click Adjust weight.
  6. In the New weight field, enter your preferred amount.
  7. Click Update weight.
  8. Return to Roasting Intelligence and click Synchronize to view the lot.



Lots are not assigned to the same location as the roast machine

If green lots are not assigned to the correct location as the roast machine, the green lot will not appear when attempting to roast.

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar.
  2. Navigate to the (Green) Inventory tab on the main menu bar. You will be directed to the (Green) Inventory overview page.
  3. Select the desired lot by clicking on its ID tag.
  4. The lot's location is listed under the General Information section.
  5. To change the location, click Manage and select Warehouse Distribution.
  6.  You will now enter the quantity you wish to move to the desired location and click Update.

 

Tips and Recommendations

You can manage locations directly from the (Green) Inventory overview page. 
Simply check the box next to the lot you want to update and click the Warehouse distribution button.

 

 

 

Lots not modified in more than 180 days

If a lot has not been used in more than 180 days, it will not be synced to Roasting Intelligence.
To "activate" it, you will need to make an edit to the green lot within the online platform C-sar to allow it to show up in Roasting Intelligence: 

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar
  2. Navigate to the (Green) Inventory tab on the main menu bar. You will be directed to the (Green) Inventory overview page.
  3. Select the lot you wish to use in Roasting Intelligence and click Adjust weight.
  4. In the lot editor, click Update weight.
    You don't need to make changes—just click Update weight to restore the lot's visibility in Roasting Intelligence.
  5. Click the Synchronize button in Roasting Intelligence to update your Green Inventory. The lot will then appear in your selection list.

 

The Sample roaster needs to be marked as a Production roaster

In case you are regularly roasting lots of PG (Green Inventory) with the Sample roaster, you need to mark your Sample roaster as "Production Roaster" in the settings. 

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar.
  2. Navigate toSettings on the main menu bar. Select Machines. 
  3. Select your roast machine and click onEdit.
  4. Navigate to the Usage section and select Production. 
  5. Click on Update machine.
