Why the Brews table shows estimated timestamps and how to fix it
Table of Contents
The issue
The Brews table shows estimated timestamps.
The solution
This occurs because the device lacked real-time functionality due to a failed internet or Wi-Fi connection. Although the brews were still recorded, we could only estimate their actual creation time.
- Log in to the online platform C-sar.
- Navigate to Cafe > Telemetry Insights.
-
(In case you have more than one espresso machine) Select the espresso machine.

-
Scroll to the Linked Recipes section and click Change Recipe linking.

-
Navigate to the Brews tab. It will list only the brews made by the selected espresso machine.

- If your latest brews have regular timestamps, everything is restored.
-
If no Brews are being synced, access the BrewBeacon settings page and verify the WiFi connection.

- Once the connection is restored, brews will be synced and show accurate timestamps again.
⚠️ Warning: Regularly estimated timestamps suggest an unreliable internet connection
- Try changing the BrewBeacon's Wi-Fi network or improving your overall internet connectivity.
- Avoid repeatedly turning your machine off and on. If the BrewBeacon reboots without internet access, all brews in that cycle will have estimated timestamps.
