This article explores the Weekly Cafe Updates email and provides step-by-step instructions for managing your subscription.
The Weekly Cafe Updates summarize location performance, highlighting top achievers and identifying sites that need extra support or training. These insights enable detailed assessments to drive overall operational improvement.
 


Instructions

Subscribing to the Weekly Cafe Updates email 

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar.
  2. Navigate to theGear icon and select Account.
  3. Select the My profile page.
  4. Scroll down to the Email notifications section and activate the Weekly Cafe Updates email by clicking on the checkbox.
    Email content is tailored according to your subscription plan.
  5. A confirmation message will pop up in the top right corner of the screen, and you will start receiving the Weekly Cafe Updates emails.

⚠️ Missing Emails

If you are not receiving your Weekly Cafe Updates, we recommend checking your Spam folder. To ensure future delivery, please locate the email and mark it as "Not Spam" to prevent your provider from filtering it out.

 


Unsubscribing from the Weekly Cafe updates email 

Via the Weekly Cafe Updates email

  1. Open your Weekly Cafe Update and scroll to the bottom. You may need to click 'View entire message' to see the full content.
  2. Click Unsubscribe.

     

Via the Accounts overview page 

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar. 
  2. Navigate to the My profile page by clicking on the drop-down next to your email address.
  3. Disable Receive Weekly Cafe updates by clicking on the checkbox. 
  4. A confirmation message will pop up in the top right corner of the screen, and you will stop receiving the daily roast update emails.

Weekly Cafe Updates: Section-by-Section Overview

The Weekly Cafe Updates email will display all the locations that you have permission to access.

As a result, we categorise the emails based on the specific location(s) you have access to:

  • Single locations
  • Multiple locations


Weekly Cafe Updates email tailored for individual (single) locations

Beginning with an orange disclaimer, we will showcase the percentage of brews in range for that specific location.
The email is organized into three distinct sections:

  1. Your brew consistency last week
    • Total brews
    • Brews not evaluated 
    • Brews out of range
  2. Your production last week
    • Total brews
    • Daily average brews: Get more insights into your espresso machines in Telemetry Insights.
  3. Your shot-saving last week
    • Last POS upload
    • Shots brewed
    • Shots sold
    • Shots unsold: You can gain additional insights into your locations by utilizing Inventory Insights.
 


Weekly Cafe Updates email tailored for multiple locations

 

The Weekly Cafe Updates email will display only the top three and bottom three locations based on performance.

 


Beginning with an orange disclaimer, we will showcase the percentage of brews in range across 3 locations.
The email is organized into three distinct sections:

  1. Least consistent locations
    It may be beneficial to include these locations in your upcoming internal training sessions.
    Get more insights into your espresso machines in Telemetry Insights:
    • Name
    • Total brews
    • Brews not evaluated
    • Brews out of range 
       
  2. Locations with the highest daily brews
    • Name
    • Total brews
    • Daily average brews
       
  3. Locations with the highest amount of unsold coffee
    • Name
    • Shots brewed
    • Shots sold
    • Shots unsold: You can gain additional insights into your locations by utilizing Cafe Inventory Insights.
