The issue The solution

The issue

You encountered a flow meter alarm or any other espresso machine error.

The solution

A flow meter alarm or other machine error notification suggests that your BrewBeacon may be incorrectly installed or is lacking external power.

  1. Turn off your espresso machine and disconnect it from the power source.
  2. Verify all cables are securely connected and correctly routed, referencing the BrewBeacon installation instructions.
  3. If the espresso machine currently lacks external power (a common cause for the alarm), connect BrewBeacon using a micro USB power adapter.
  4. Leave all other cables connected.
  5. Plug the espresso machine back in and verify power to the BrewBeacon.

Changing the power supply does not require any action in Cropster Cafe. Just power the machine on and resume tracking your brews.
