Using Smart Customizable Alerts
Table of Contents
Overview
This article explains how to use and configure Smart Customizable Alerts in Roasting Intelligence.
Previously, Roasting Intelligence only supported audible alarms for First Crack and Profile completion. Smart Alerts now offer much more flexibility.
The improved Smart Customizable Alerts feature in RI5 allows you to:
- Set alerts as visual, audible, or both, fast and efficient.
- Select the sound for your alerts. If your computer is equipped with Bluetooth, you can enhance your experience by connecting external devices.
- Create an unlimited number of alerts.
- Easily enable or disable alerts for each specific event according to your needs. Temporarily disabling alerts rather than deleting them can help you save time and streamline your workflow.
- Choose when alerts can be triggered concerning the Target, e.g., when the temperature is increasing, decreasing, or both.
- Review the Alerts log to identify production trends or issues. Clear the log whenever you need a fresh start
- Improve the overall consistency of your roasts.
